I sent my protest photos to the event coordinator and they published a few on their website - http://nebezpeci.cz/aktivity/20060802/Â - and sent me a link for some English info if you’re interested in what it’s all about: http://nebezpeci.cz/aktivity/20060802/vyzva-libanon-en.pdf.

I got all the posters I saw translated, and here’s what they said:
- Israel must defend itself from terrorism.
- Have we forgotten about Hitler?!
- Israel defends itself from terror!
- We stand with you, Israel!
- Disarm Hezbollah!
- Israel defends its children!
- Israel has the right to defend its citizens!
- Lebanon is responsible for Hezbollah!
- Using human shields is a war crime.
- Israel be strong and brave.
- We are with you, Israel.
- If Israel falls, Europe falls too.
A little adventure

Instead of eating dinner at the cafeteria I decided to spend my precious pre-curfew hours wandering around town on my own. I stopped to order sushi, and since it took them awhile to prepare it I continued wandering while I waited. A young couple walked down the street with an Israeli flag, which I decided was a cue for me to follow them about half a mile. We ended up at the Lebanese Embassy, where a pro-Israel rally was taking place. I sang with the rally for awhile, then shot some of the best photos I’ve ever taken (all in the gallery). If you can read Czech, you can see the website at http://nebezpeci.cz/aktivity/20060802/.
